What the office supplies

myCRMSIM connects customer-owned hardware and SIMs to CRM workflows. Its iMessage requirements list an iPhone, SIM and Mac. This may appeal to a team that already operates business devices and has someone responsible for them. It also introduces a dependency on their power, connectivity and updates.

What the license covers

The iMessage software is listed at $29 per line monthly for one to ten lines, or $290 per line annually. Hardware and carrier service cost extra. The public iMessage table lists 50 unique contacts daily; request the applicable counting rules for your configuration.

An after-hours question

Ask what happens when the office device goes offline during a weekend of showings. The team should know how it is notified, who restores service and what happens to queued messages. A software license should be compared with a managed line only after those responsibilities and costs are included.
